Two women from different walks of life fall deeply in love. Yasmin, a successful fashion editor, lives with her fiancé in Toronto. On a Friday night, while out with her best friend Claire, she meets Dallas, a charismatic woman who has recently ended a relationship. Yasmin is drawn to the enigmatic woman who works as a handyman in a neighboring house. This chance encounter soon turns into a longing that ignites in Yasmin as she gets to know Dallas better, and this leads her to invite Dallas to her rented attic room.
